Marcio is a NCCP Certified Coach through PGA of Canada, Titleist Performance Institute Certified Specialist Golf Level 2 and Power Level 2, Certified Club Fitter, Certified U.S. Kids Coach, Certified Positive Coaching Alliance, ScottCowx Certified Coach, Golf Canada Member a strong supporter and instructor of Future Links Canada and U.S. Kids. Both organizations are strongly involved with an initiative to introduce and develop young players worldwide.

 

Since 1989 he has played on professional tours around the world as well as learned from and worked closely with PGA, LPGA, and Worldwide touring professionals. He continues to conducted lessons, golf camps, seminars, golf clinics as well as organizing tournaments for corporate institutions.

 

Besides owning and operating his golf studio, golf fitting and teaching facility he also work with the Municipality where he is the Head Golf Instructor and coaches all age groups and skills levels on Wednesdays throughout the year at an indoor facility in Bowmanville.

He prides himself on continuing his education through certifications, researches and advance use of technology as well as learning from some of the best instructors in their respected fields. As a devoted student of Body Mechanics and Kinesiology he believes that the principle of true sports performance can only be achieved by understanding how the body and functions. He strongly believes that a complete athlete must be balanced and focused in order to perform at their best. He is a Peak Performance Mental Strength Coach that incorporates in his teachings the most overlooked element of a successful athlete        

"The Mind".

 

Marcio enjoys working with golfers of all levels. Whether, a beginner or touring professional, developing a realistic stroke pattern based on an individual’s functional movement is the key to long term improvement.

OTHER INTERESTS

Marcio is a former Junior National Champion in Road Race Cycling he is a competitive professional golfer that continues to train and compete whenever possible. He is an avid Polo Player and enjoys training Polo Ponies ("Horses") listening to Jazz and playing his trumpet.
